Document failed to generate: Exception: Source X is unsupported document – contains Mail Merge

This error is typically caused by a Mail Merge field embedded in one of the documents being inserted into your template.

To resolve the issue:

1. Open the Word template that is generating the error.
2. Press Ctrl+A to select the entire document.
3. Right-click anywhere in the selected text and choose Toggle Field Codes (or Toggle Fields, depending on your version of Word).
4. Review the document for any Mail Merge field codes, such as MERGEFIELD , NEXT , IF , or other merge-related fields.
5. Delete any Mail Merge fields that you find.
6. Save the document and generate it again in Knackly.

If the error persists, check any inserted documents referenced by the template as well. A single Mail Merge field anywhere in the document set can cause Knackly to reject the document during generation.
