Using the New Graphical PDF Interface

1. Open the new PDF mapping interface

• The Loom introduces a new graphical interface for PDFs.
• This replaces the older workflow where you mainly worked from the mapping view and dragged fields from one side to another.
• The goal is to make field selection and placement faster and easier to understand.

2. Use the document preview to work directly in the PDF

• A document preview is now available.
• You can click directly into the preview and type what you want to place.
• This gives you a more visual way to interact with the document instead of relying only on the mapping list.

3. Switch to full-screen view for drag-and-drop mapping

• If you want to build mappings by dragging and dropping, open the full-screen view.
• From there, you can select a field such as Client → Show full name.
• Then drag it directly onto the correct location in the document.
• This reduces the time spent searching for the right field in the mapping interface.

4. Use advanced or visual builder options for conditional logic

• For fields like a button, you can use the advanced/visual builder.
• This lets you add conditions and other logic as needed.
• It provides a more flexible way to control when and how a field appears or behaves.

5. Fall back to standard expression tools when needed

• You can still use the standard tools that were already available.
• If preferred, you can simply write the expression manually.
• This keeps the new interface compatible with existing workflows and power-user methods.
