Enabling Document Preview in Your App

1. Understand what document preview does

• The app now includes a document preview feature.
• This lets users view generated documents inside the app before exporting or sending them to Word.
• The preview is meant to give a good visual rendering of text formatting, including things like bold text and general layout.

2. See how the preview appears in the app

• After updating the app, a Preview Documents button appears.
• If the app contains only one document, that document opens automatically.
• If the app contains multiple documents, the preview shows a list of documents that you can click through.
• The formatting may not be perfect, but it provides a useful way to review the document before exporting.

3. Enable document preview in the app designer

• Open the Designer for your app.
• Go to Your Apps.
• Find the new option called Enable Document Preview.
• Check the box to turn the feature on.

4. Use the preview to review documents before exporting

• Once enabled, the app will automatically display documents created through the app.
• This gives you a way to review updated documents inside the app.
• It helps you confirm the content and formatting before sending the document to Word.
