Changing the Normal Style Font for a Single Word Document

You may encounter that the font for inserted fields is different than your document. You can update this to a "Normal" Style font. To do this:

On the Home tab, select the Normal style in the Styles gallery and select Modify.

On Windows

Word Modify Style

In the Formatting section, change the Formatting font and size and select OK.

Word Modify Style Format

This will set the font for the template you are working in and will insert variables using that font into your template.

On macOS

In the Home tab, select Styles Pane. Then select New Style.

In the new popup, select the font and size you need. Then select OK.
